Dr. Melissa DelBello, MD
Primary Investigator
Dr. DelBello is a child and adolescent psychiatrist who co-directs the Mood Disorders Center at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. She is the vice-chair of Clinical Research in the Department of Psychiatry, the director of Research Training and Education at CCHMC, and the co-director of the Division of Bipolar Disorders Research at the UC College of Medicine. Dr. DelBello is also a professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics with expertise in neurodevelopment and the treatment of children and adolescents with mood disorders.

Dr. Rodrigo Patino, MD
Co-Investigator
Dr. Patino Is a psychiatrist in the department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He specializes in bipolar disorder, mood disorders, and schizophrenia. Dr. Patino is the Co-Primary investigator for the Ketogenic Therapy for Youth Bipolar Disorder Study.

Dr. David Fleck, PhD
Co-Investigator
Dr. Fleck is a Research Associate Professor with the Center for Imaging Research in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience. He completed his Bachelors and Masters degrees at Cleveland State University and received his Ph.D. in Neuropsychology in 1997 from the University of Cincinnati. His primary research interests include the neuropsychology of attention and memory; cognitive and physiological consequences of psychopathology and neuropathology; and cultural differences in the course and treatment of bipolar disorder.

Dr. Caleb Adler, MD
Psychiatrist
Dr. Caleb Adler is a psychiatrist at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, the vice-chair for clinical research, and co-directs the Division of Bipolar Disorders Research. Dr. Adler trained in psychiatry at Georgetown University Medical Center, where he was chief resident in psychiatry. He then joined the intramural program of the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) as a senior staff fellow in the Experimental Therapeutics Branch, where he developed his interest in studying mood and psychotic disorders. After completing a four-year fellowship at the NIMH, Dr. Adler joined the faculty at the University of Cincinnati. His research focuses primarily on the treatment for, and the neuropathophysiology of, bipolar and related disorders.

Cathy Bailey
Research Coordinator
Cathy Bailey is the Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. She works within the Division of Bipolar Disorders Research in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience. Cathy has extensive experience working with individuals experiencing mood and other psychiatric disorders.
